Position: Technical Consultant
Location:  Remote


Role Description: 

As a Technical Consultant, you are responsible for leading the technical implementation of Kantata.  This includes activities such as: running workshops, capturing requirements, configuring Kantata interfaces based on gathered requirements, migrating data via ETL tools, training customers, and post go-live stabalization.  


Your objective is to provide quality deliverables, to budget, while working with other project team members.  You will work closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Functional Consultants to achieve this success.  Additionally, you will be a key contributor to our internal processes, methods and tools to ensure we deliver consistently and efficiently to customers.   




  • Gather and document technical requirements and publish these to the knowledge base where necessary 

  • Provide technical consultancy on features aligned to customer’s business needs 

  • Facilitate workshop sessions with customer business and technical personnel to dive out requirements and solutions 

  • Carry out configurations in various systems including middleware that are in line with requirements 

  • Perform Quality Assurance checks for Implementations 

  • Improve, develop and share best practices with team members 

  • Evolve methods & tools to increase delivery efficiency 

  • Configure customers environments using standard Salesforce components for connected solutions  


Role Requirements:  

  • Minimum of 5 years in the software / services industry in the role of Technical Consultant 

  • Extensive experience in the implementation of Enterprise software, ideally cloud-based 

  • Extensive experience of delivering technical solutions requiring integration of multiple applications 

  • Experience of working for a Professional Services / Consulting company with a sound understanding of the underlying business model  

  • Experience in defining and executing data migration strategies  

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively with both technical and business personnel 

  • Ability to embrace change, new challenges and learning – you will need to become an expert in deploying PSA solutions in a fast-paced environment 

  • Knowledge of the Salesforce platform is desirable but not mandatory 

  • Willingness to travel

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Self-starter, highly motivated and a good team player 

  • Passion for consultancy and customer service 

  • High sense of operational excellence, disciplined working and effective time management
